They're closing Astroworld!

I can't believe what I'm reading! How is the city letting this happen? Not that we go all the time, but come on! What do you say, people? Will you miss it?

Don't say anything, but it's just until the refugees go away. :-)

I can't believe it. I love Astrowold. My favorite ride is the Cyclone, once you're released from the chain, you're on your own. Can't stop it until it reaches it's final destination. Pure physics....

I liked the XLR8 because it was like a rollercoaster but with a smooth ride.

Now I'm afraid to ride anything because they're not going to care about repairs....

Well, you can always sit back and enjoy the Christian music. Heh.

My favorite ride has to be the Viper. Not as frightening as the Cyclone, but still a bit of a thrill to it.

Perhaps, but they will still care about being sued. My understanind is that if there is a pending lawsuit, it makes it hard to sell. I think it is considered it is a lien even if a judgement has not yet been made. I'm not an attorney, so I can't be sure....

If it's the assurance of safety and sound maintenance your looking for, then I suggest you bypass Astroworld and drive on to the city of Beaumont during the month of October to attend the South Texas State Fair, where they may not take care of their own teeth, . . . that's it.

If you get lost, look for folks drinking beverages still in the brown paper bags. (they don't like to litter)
