Bay Jammin'

Nora insisted I go to the bayfront for the Fourth so I could see the fireworks and watch the crowds. Corpus has a paved sidewalk that runs along the shoreline, and I walked along it for about a mile to see what I might find. Eventually I came upon an area with playground equipment for kids. I was on the phone with Nora and I told her it looked like a gnome village. She said, "Oh, you're at Cole Park." And of course she was right.

There is a stage at the other end of the park where a band played southern rock while we waited for the fireworks to begin.
